How To Take Better Care Of Yourself Today

You want to start taking better care of yourself, but you don't know where to start? Keep reading...


I didn't start taking care of myself properly for years. I knew i wasn't living a healthy or sustainable lifestyle - staying up late, sleeping in, eating junk, and endlessly doomscrolling. Being pro-active sounded complicated, time consuming, and the more i searched online for answers, the more expensive it sounded.


My skin was bad, I was tired all the time, bloated, extremely heavy periods, and honestly? Really low. I did not feel good about myself in any way.


The truth is, "wellness" isn't an industry like many of us think, or are lead to believe. It's not about buying more or doing everything at once.


Wellness is about you. It's about slowing down.


For me, wellness is about feeling better in myself - not about being perfect, which i think is especially important as a mother. I want to become happier, not just healthier.


Doing small things that actually fit into real life, here are some small changes that you can start making today 🌷


Breakfast 🥞🍓

Lets start at the beginning. The first meal of the day, healthy doesn't have to be bland or boring. My favourite breakfast right now is a greek yogurt bowl with fried banana (in coconut oil), peanut butter, honey, flaxseed + chiaseed.


Slow Down 🐢🌷🤍

One of the top reasons your cholesterol is so high is because your doing everything so quickly! Stop rushing everything you do!! (this includes eating!!)


Slowing down helps you notice all of the hidden joys of everyday life, trust me on this one.


The big rule ✨

Less is more - you don't NEED all of the top gadgets & gizmos.


Skincare, makeup, red lights & expensive classes - You don’t need to spend lots of bucks to feel good. It starts with simple habit changes & mindset. Get comfortable first, then treat yourself when the time is right to make that investment


Start with simple habitual changes 🌸🤍

  • Less doomscrolling

  • Wake up earlier / Sleep earlier

  • Give more time to a hobby


Don’’t let the word 'wellness' overwhelm you! Be the best version of yourself everyday by building the

foundation of your future self.


Once you feel comfortable... 🍓

Set your goals - Make a simple switch, make it part of your everyday new life one goal at a time.
